A Tribute to Our Volunteers

The Minto US OPEN Pickleball Championships does not happen without a strong team of very dedicated volunteers. Hundreds of people will work tirelessly to make sure your US Open experience is one you will always remember!

They will answer your questions, check you in for your matches, present your awards, make sure matches run smoothly, run shuttles, fill water coolers, and more! Many volunteers arrive at 6am and do not leave until the last match is over!

There is not a more valuable group of people responsible for the success of the US Open! They are passionate about pickleball, but mostly they are passionate about you!

Referees

The US Open will run over 5,000 matches during the 8-day competitive event. Our qualified referees are spearheaded by Mark Peifer, Julie Scott and their team. Mark and Julie work throughout the year recruiting refs and planning out the details to make sure as many matches as possible have a ref. Referee training is ongoing in Naples and southwest Florida, and refs will travel from around the country and Canada to be a part of making your US Open experience a great one!
