Due to massive demand, we introduced the US Open Player Lottery in 2019 to create the fairest registration process.
The US Open welcomes all players, no qualifying events required. Whether you’re a previous US Open medalist or simply enjoyed participating, everyone is eligible to compete. If you've played with us before or are joining us for the first time, you have a chance to secure your spot. This solution has been a great success, relieving players from the rush of entering the moment registration opens. Join us and be part of the excitement at the US Open!

Player Lottery - January 8-14 (midnight), 2025
While you don't need to do the below now, following these simple steps will create a smooth registration for you.
- Pickleball Den: Pickleball Den is our new official tournament software. Verify or create your free Pickleball Den account. Don't forget to add your photo!
- DUPR: We're using DUPR as the official and exclusive ratings of the US Open. See our US Open DUPR FAQ and verify, claim/merge or create your free DUPR account.
- Link your Pickleball Den and DUPR Accounts:
- Log into Pickleball Den
- Click Account, scroll to DUPR, and click Connect DUPR Account then follow prompts.

REGISTRATION FEES
- Amateur Credential: $140
- Pro Credential: $140
- Sr. Pro Credential: $140
- Junior Credential: $25*
*Junior players receive a US Open discount of $115. Please reach out to us for your discount code.
EVENT FEES
- Pro: $120/event
- Sr. Pro: $85/event
- Amateur: $45/event
- Juniors: $25/event
REGISTRATION AND WEATHER INSURANCE

LOTTERY SELECTION PRIORITIZATION
In order to be eligible for the US Open Player Lottery, you may compete in the event that matches:
a) The age of the lowest team member, AND
b) The skill level equal to or higher of the highest team member
Example of a doubles team:
Player A = 54 years old and 3.752 DUPR
Player B = 47 years old and 4.102 DUPR
The correct event for the above example doubles team is 45-49 Age and 4.0 Skill.
Ratings are determined at the time of registration.
Age is determined as of 12/31/25.
LOTTERY DATES & TIMES

General Registration Lottery Period
- You may register ANY time during the General Registration period. Priority IS NOT given according to when you register!
- You must be registered with a partner indicated before the lottery closes. You may initially sign up without a partner so that your name will be on the Players Needing Partners list in order for those players to find each other and edit their registration before the lottery closes.
- Payment is not required until confirmation email sent.

Email confirmation sent to all lottery winners.
January 25, 2025
Deadline for all lottery winners to submit payment.
January 25 – January 31, 2025
Nonpaid teams removed and alternates notified.
March 1, 2025 – REFUND DEADLINE
If you withdraw before March 1st, you will be issued a full refund, less a $25 processing fee, without the need to purchase Registration Insurance. No refunds will be issued after March 1st for any reason, unless you have purchased the US Open Insurance Program.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION
Event Formats
All Amateur, Wheelchair, Junior and Sr. Pro events will be run as double elimination with a consolation bracket. The consolation bracket will play for the bronze medal. The winner’s bracket will play for the gold and silver medals.
All Pro and Split Pro Age events will be run as a single elimination. The Pro brackets will run as a progressive format with one match of each event played per day.
All Pro and Senior Pro qualifying events, if needed, will be run as a single elimination with a single elimination Bonus Draw for those who don't qualify for the Main Draw.
Please refer to the schedule to see which events will run on which days.
US Open Insurance Program
Insurance must be purchased at time of registration.
If you withdraw before March 1st, 2025, you will be issued a full refund less a $25 processing fee without the need to purchase Registration Insurance. Registration Insurance covers you in the event you must cancel out of the event after the March 1st refund deadline. Registration Insurance will also cover your event fee in the case your event is cancelled due to weather. Please read the US Open Insurance Program.
PLAYER REPLACEMENT GUIDELINES
Need A Partner?
Before the Registration Lottery opens go to our US Open Player Connection page to find a partner.
Need A Sub?
If your partner cancels, email registration@usopenpickleball.com to add a new partner. You may choose a new partner who is not already registered in the US Open until April 1st. After April 1st, you must choose a sub from a player already registered in the US Open. Replacement players must be able to play in the same skill/age group that you have a spot in. Keep in mind as you search for a replacement that players may play down in age and up in skill. Replacements must be communicated to registration@usopenpickleball.com by 6 p.m. the day before your event is scheduled to play. Any request for replacements after 6 p.m. will be reviewed by the Tournament Director for approval. Replacements can be found on the players needing partners list.
ZING ZANG CHAMPIONSHIP TICKET LOTTERY
January 31 - February 4, 2025
You do not need a ticket to be part of the US Open experience. Come to East Naples Community Park and watch pro and amateur matches on 59 courts for FREE! There is a $5/day parking fee. All proceeds go to Kiwanis. You may also roam and shop in the US Open Expo tents, enjoy great food and a cool beverage in the Beer Garden, while listening to live music each afternoon.
To purchase tickets to watch matches on the famous Zing Zang Championship Court, you will need to enter the TICKET LOTTERY, January 31 - February 4, 2025.
